The Evangelical-Lutheran Church in Cluj-Napoca was built during 1816-1829 according to the plans of the architect Georg Winkler, and harmoniously combines elements of baroque and neoclassic style.
In its walls, stones of the famous round Bastion were incorporated. On the front appears the word „PIETATI” (“religiousness”). The painting of the altar is the work of Johann Gentiluomo and the organ was built in 1913 by the Walker firm in Ludwigsburg.
